Donna Marie Downing

Donna Marie Downing, 85, died Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at Sandy Ridge Assisted Living in Candor. A Rosary Service will be 2:30 PM Saturday at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Downing was born in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Ben and Peg Dawson. She and her family moved from Iowa to Riverside, California. Donna met and married Dominic Luc. She was preceded in death by a son, Randy Brewer, who died in Aug. 2001. She is survived by her husband, William Downing of California, and a son, Rickie Luc of West End; 6 grandchildren, John Luc, Randy Delbert Brewer, Jr., Elycia Brewer Hoops, Carrie, Lee Ann and Kelly Brewer; 5 Great-grandchildren, Rae, Chance and Lily Luc, Alexis and Brandon Hoops. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:30 PM Saturday prior to the service at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home in Candor.
