Donald H. Rambo DENTON — Donald Harry Rambo, 73, of Old Camp Road, died Tuesday, June 6, 2006, at his home. Funeral service will be 9:30 a.m. Friday at Deliverance Tabernacle Church, Silver Valley, where he attended, with the Rev. Clayton Stoneman officiating. Burial will be 4 p.m. Friday in the Rambo Family Cemetery, Otterbranch, W.Va. He was a native of McDowell County, W.Va., the widower of Lula Mae Owens Rambo and worked as a coal miner. Surviving are sons, Vivian Aaron Rambo of Asheboro, George Rambo of Denton, Donald Rambo of Lexington, David Rambo of War, W.Va.; daughters, Teresa Absher of Denton, Lola Gail Duncan of Davey, W.Va., Virginia Brinkle of Lexington; brother, Darrell Rambo of Wytheville, Va.; 17 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren. The family will be at the church 6:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday. Briggs Funeral Home, Denton, is in charge of arrangements.
