Donald Jones

Mr. Donald Leo Jones, 72, a resident of Loflin Rd., Denton passed away on Thursday, August 09, 2018 at Hinkle Hospice House. A memorial service is being planned for a later date. Mr. Jones was born December 1, 1945 in Columbus, OH to Homer Jones and Mary Sanfillipo Jones. He was a veteran of the United States Army and attended the Annunciation Catholic Church in Albemarle. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by sister, Cathy Elliott and brother, Joe Jones. He is survived by wife, Cathy Daniels Jones of the home; sons, Thomas Jones of Winston Salem, Ket Jones of Thomasville, Charles Humble of Denton; brothers, Bobby, Tony, Jon, Jimmy, and Tony Jones all of Columbus, OH and Charles Jones of Kernersville; sister, Theresa McCaninch of Columbus, OH;  5 grandchildren, Aiden Humble, Ashland Edwards, Dillion Jones, Asia Jones, and Alvarez Jones; 1 great-grandchild, Brantlee Edwards.
