Donald Hill

Mr. Donald Efird “Judge” Hill, age 70 of Tysinger Road, Denton, NC died Friday, May 21 at Hospice Home at High Point. Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Tuesday at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Johnny Albertson officiating. Burial will follow at Cid United Methodist Church Cemetery. Mr. Hill was born October 15, 1939 in Davidson County to Burt Hill and Rosie Harrison Hill. He was a Veteran of the US Army and was a life member of the Amvets. He was retired from the Dixie Furniture and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by half brothers, Leon and Jessie Hill. Mr. Hill is survived by a son; Gary Hill and wife Edna of Lexington, sister; Mrs. Olena King of Archdale, half brothers; Otis Hill and Kenneth Harrison both of Lexington, grand daughter; Whitney Hill and step grand daughter; Joanna Hale. The family will see friends Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton. Memorials can be made to Hospice of the Piedmont 1801 Westchester Dr., High Point NC, 27262.
