Donald "Donnie" Glover

Mr. Donald “Donnie” Raeford Glover, age 61, of Johnson Rd., Denton died early Thursday morning, February 7 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel conducted by Rev. Tammy Talbert. Interment will follow in Tom’s Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Glover was born February 22, 1951 in Davidson County to Calvin Raeford Glover and Mary Rose Johnson Glover. He was the former President of Glover Manufacturing and was currently working at Asheboro Ready Mix. Donald had a great love for airplanes especially the B-52’s. He was preceded in death by his father. Surviving are wife; Shirley Snow Glover of the home, sister; Kathy Garner and husband Lowe of Denton, and his mother; Mary Rose Glover of Denton. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the residence on Johnson Rd. Memorials can be sent to the donor’s choice.
