Don Woodle

Don Boyd Woodle, age 77 of Lexington died Monday July 18, 2011 A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM Thursday, July 21 at Silver Valley Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Gene Little. Burial with Military Honors will be in the Church Cemetery Mr. Woodle was born February 24, 1934 in Davidson County to Clayton Woodle and Neely Smith Woodle. He was a veteran of the U S Army and a member of Silver Valley Baptist Church. He was a retired master carver with Drexel Heritage Furniture Company in High Point. He was married to Chesteen Cross Woodle who died November 3, 2003. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Homer Woodle and by sisters, Ethel Tysinger, Bernice Cranford, Grace Garner and Lucy Klass. He is survived by a daughter Patricia Woodle of Lexington, and a brother Garl Woodle of Denton. He is also leaves behind his faithful companion “Buddy”. The family will see friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton. Memorials may be made to Silver Valley Baptist Church, PO Box 711, Lexington, NC 27293
