Dirk Parsons

Mr. Dirk Williams Parsons, age 57 of Calabash, and formerly of Troy died Saturday, August 4 at Columbus Regional Hospital. A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, August 9 at First Wesleyan Church Cemetery in Troy. The family will see friends from 6:00 to 8;30 PM Wednesday at Briggs Funeral Home in Troy. Mr. Parsons was born September 21, 1954 in Troy, to Tilton Parsons and Jeanette Williams Parsons. He had worked for several years with the U S Army Robin-Sage perations. He is survived by his parents of Troy, daughters Misty Andrews and husband John of Shallotte and Chrissy Fohr and husband Daniel of Sherrrills Ford; his long-time companion, Lisa Chaney of Calabash; brother Dale Parsons and wife Ann of Troy and grandchildren, Ashley Harden, Kristin Harden, Arron Harden, Wade Andrews and Aubrey Fohr.
