Diane Britt Lowe

Diane Britt Lowe, 65, of Jackson Springs, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2015 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Mrs. Lowe was born May 24, 1949 in Moore County, a daughter of Joe and Peggy Goins Britt. She was a quilter, homemaker and an avid gardener. She was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Freeman. Surviving are her husband, Ray Lowe of the home;daughters, Debbie Ann Lowe of Jackson Springs, Cathy Lowe Anatara (Dave) of Massillon, Ohio; grandchildren, Steven Lowe (April) of Jackson Springs, Brittany Newkirk of Terrel, Texas, Xavier Newkirk of Jacksonville, NC; great grandchildren, Jayson Fraley, Christopher Lowe, Elizabeth Marsh; parents, Joe and Peggy Britt of Jackson Springs; siblings, Bobby Britt of Jackson Springs, Joann King of Gastonia, Danny Joe Britt of Aberdeen, Polly Mabe of Derby, Kellie Dunn of Jackson Springs and Joy Garner of High Falls. The family will see friends from 6 to 8 pm Wednesday at Briggs Candor Funeral Home and at other times at the home on Currie Mill Rd. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the family for the establishment of a memorial garden in Diane’s memory.
