Denie Workman Hill

Mrs. Denie Workman Hill age 74, of N. Main St. Denton passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at her residence. A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 16, at 2:00 PM at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Summerville Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Hill was born October 5, 1940 in Randolph County to W. Archie Workman and Dorothy Lamb Workman. She was a homemaker and a member of Denton Church of God. In addition to her parents Denie was preceded in death by brothers, Robert and Richard Workman and by a sister, Elma Cody. Surviving are, husband, Rayford Lee Hill of the home; sons, Timmy and Roger Hill of Denton; daughter, Brenda Hill of Thomasville; brothers, Alvin Workman, Homer Workman, Ricky Workman of Denton, and Lee Workman of Trinity; sister, Ethel Freeman of Denton, 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the residence.
