Delorice Skeen Hudson

Ms. Delorice Skeen Hudson, age 72, of Denton died Monday evening, April 6 at Novant Health Thomasville Medical Center. Funeral service for Ms. Hudson will be 2:00 pm Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Briggs Memorial Chapel with Rev. Steve Chipps officiating. Burial will follow in Gravel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 pm Thursday, prior to the service, at Briggs Funeral Home. Ms. Hudson was born May 6, 1942 in Randolph County to Luther and Myrtle Lanier Skeen. She was a member of Gravel Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Robert Skeen and Raeford Skeen and sister Dorothy Frye. She is survived by two daughters, Martie Chappell and husband Mike of Richfield and Ginger Hudson and Chris Alford of Lexington, one brother, Larry Skeen and wife Sheila of the New Hope community, one sister, Margaret Black of Asheboro and two grandchildren, Kasey and Korby Chappell.
