Debbie & Howard Bostian

Mr. Howard Lee Bostian III, age 58, and Debra Diann Reid Bostian, age 58, both of Denton, NC, passed away at Thomasville Medical Center, Howard on December 16, and Debra on November 24.

Howard was born in Cumberland County on April 18, 1963 to Howard Lee Bostian II and Daisy Dewese Bostian. He was a graduate of South Iredell High School, a master finish carpenter and owner of Elite Woodworking, and loved all things UNC Tar Heels. Preceding Howard in death was his mother, his wife, and his sister, Diane Welcher.

Debra was born in Mecklenburg county on December 20, 1962 to Jack Marshall Reid and Barbara Mayberry Reid. She loved to be a mom, write, crochet, and watch movies and television shows with her son. She was employed at Performance Fibers for 24 years and worked in Durham as a Lead Building Engineer for 8 years. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Howard and Debra both loved to watch The Andy Griffith Show together. They were happily married for 26 years.

They are survived by their son, Howard Lee Bostian IV of Denton.
