Ms. Eula Aldecca “Dean” Hampton Medford, 85, of Crestview Dr., Thomasville passed away on Friday, November 08, 2019 at Hinkle Hospice House. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, Nov. 10 at Tom’s Creek Primitive Baptist Church, 335 Tom's Creek Church Road, Denton, NC 27239 with Rev. Lewis Coltrane officiating. Interment will follow at Tom’s Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Ms. Medford was born August 17, 1934 in Madison, NC to Molt Hampton and Lela English Hampton. She was a member of Faith Temple Holiness Church in High Point and later attended First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Lexington. “Dean” was homemaker. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Billy Medford, Sr.; brothers, William and Frank Hampton; sister, Ruth Baxter. She is survived by son, Billy Medford, Jr. and wife Reta of Lexington; daughters, Rena Campbell and husband Jimmy of Lexington and Eula Oldham and husband Craig of Thomasville; sister, Ann Porter of SC; 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:30 to 2:00 pm prior to the funeral service at Tom’s Creek Primitive Baptist Church and other times at the home of Eula Oldham in Thomasville.
