Dawn Greene Speer

Mrs. Dawn Greene Speer, 72, of S. Bilhen St., Troy, died Monday, January 16, 2017 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. A “Good Memories Celebration” for Dawn Speer will be from 3:00-5:00 PM Sunday, January 22, 2017 at the Troy Senior Center for family, relatives and friends. Mrs. Speer was born in Montgomery County on January 25, 1944, the daughter of Andrew Franklin and Elma Parks Greene. She is survived by 4 sons, Howard L. “Hal” Speer, Jr. of Albemarle, Cecil Andrew “Andy” Speer, David Allen Speer and Brian Neil Speer, all of Troy; daughter, Heather Speer Hogan of Troy; 2 sisters, Carol G. Gibson and Terry G. Fagg, both of Troy; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren. The family wants to thank all of you for your kindness, thoughtful prayers and love at this time.
