David Williams

David James Williams, 73, of South Main St., Star died Friday, March 16, 2007 at Autumn Care of Biscoe. A private family service will be held Monday, March 19, 2007 at the Candor Town Cemetery. Mr. Williams was born Jan. 30, 1934 in Hanover county to Norman and Elender Francicia Williams. He was a veteran of the US Air Force. Also he was an Accountant and ran the Candor Barber Shop for over 30 years. He was preceded in death by his wife Deane Williams and sisters, Edna Mae Williams, Margaert Fernicia Hill, Shirley Lee Stowe and by a brother, Ed Norman Williams. Survivors include, sister, Elender Fernicia Winfree and husband John of Greensboro, brother, Jerry Lee Williams and wife Reta of Alberta, Canada, several nieces and nephews, and special friend Patricia Chandler. Arrangements are by Briggs-Candor Funeral Home.
