David Manuel Shelton

David Manuel Shelton, 71, of Lexington, NC passed away on Monday, March 18, 2024, at his residence.

A memorial service will be held at the residence later.

David was born July 23, 1952, in Pulaski County, VA to James Ray Shelton and Lattie Bell Simpkins Shelton. He was a highly regarded crane operator with experience in many areas of construction. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by siblings, Arleta DeHart, James Shelton, and Johnny Shelton.

Left to cherish is memory are his wife, Pamela Williams Shelton of the home, children, Brian Shelton of Nashville, TN, Crystal Smith of Hillsville, VA, and James Shelton of Rockwell; brother, Paul Shelton of Locust; 4 grandchildren, Haley Perry, Ashleigh Spangler, Matthew Shelton, and Alan Shelton; and 7 great-grandchildren.
