David Luther

Mr. David Harold Luther of Lanier-Hill Road Denton died Tuesday, January 24 at his residence. A funeral service will be at 3:00 PM Saturday, January 28 at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Garland Hall. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery The family will see friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the residence. Mr. Luther was born September 25, 1955 in Randolph County to Alvin Harold Luther and Ruthie Hill Luther. He had formerly been employed with a sawmill and was a "jack of all trades". He is survived by a son, David Matthew Luther and wife Kelli of Asheboro; his mother and step-father Ruthie Yow and Robert Yow; .brothers, Roger Luther and Jonathan Flynt both of Denton; and a sister Darlene Luther Morris of New London
