David Goins

Mr. David Ray Goins, age 43 of South Main St. Ext., Denton died Friday, September 21, 2012 at Hinkle Hospice Home in Lexington. A funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Sunday at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel conducted by Rev. Pat Withers. Interment will follow in Tom’s Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Goins was born October 19, 1968 in Forsyth County to Wayne and Barbara Levern Goins. He was an automobile mechanic and was preceded in death by a step son, Kennith Allen McDonald. Survivors include, wife , Glenda Edwards Goins of the home, parents, Wayne and Barbara Goins of Walkertown, son, David Wayne Goins of Denton, step son, Darrell Wayne McDonald, Jr. of Lexington, brother, Daniel Goins of Thomasville, and sister, Tina Browning of Greensboro. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the home of Brenda Hill, 360 Alleghany Church Rd., Denton.
