David Ralph Edwards

DENTON - Mr. David Ralph Edwards, 73 of South Hwy. 150, Linwood, NC died Friday, March 9 at Autumn Care of Salisbury. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday, March 12 at High Rock Baptist Church in Denton with Rev. Billie Lewis and Rev. Sam Harvey officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Edwards was born in 1934 to James W. and Mary Hall Edwards. He worked with Wagner Construction in Salisbury. He was preceded in death by his wife Cynthia Bradshaw Edwards on May 31, 2003 and his son Rodney E. Edwards in 1998. Mr Edwards is survived by two sisters Gladys Aeillo of Florida and Elga Nickels of Wise County, Virginia; a daughter-in-law Sandra Edwards of Lillington; granddaughter Holly Edwards of Southern Pines; and grandson Ryan Edwards of Lillington. The family will see friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM Monday at High Rock Church in Denton.
