David Neal Curry

Mr. David Neal Curry, age 70 of Holloways Church Road, Lexington, died Saturday, October 29 at his residence.  Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at Faith Baptist Church,4518 Shiptontown Road, Denton with Rev. Freddie Moretz officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Born in Davidson County on November 1, 1951, he was the son of Floyd Eugene and Lillie Wall Curry.  He was a retiree from the North Carolina Department of Transportation.  He loved tractors, old cars, auctions and was an annual visitor of the Thresher’s Reunion.  David would always help anyone out that he could.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Harris Curry; 2 sons, Ryan Curry of Friendsville PA and Tavis Curry (Brittney) of Lexington; daughter, Summer Curry of Lexington; His mother Lillie Curry of Denton;  3 sisters, Shirley Leonard of Lexington, Bridgette Leonard and Wanda Grimes, both of Denton; 2 grandchildren, Theo and Eliza Curry; special friend of the family, Robert Still of Thomasville.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2:00 PM prior to the service Tuesday at Faith Baptist Church.
