Darrell Tysinger

Calvin Darrell Tysinger, 81, of Buie Road, died Sunday, April 9, 2006, at Mountain Vista Health Park. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Summerville Baptist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Mark Reed. Mr. Tysinger was born Jan. 1, 1925, in Davidson County to Frank and Mary Lisa Cross Tysinger. He had worked as a security guard at York Technical College in South Carolina. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Pearle Tysinger; and two sisters, Lena Carrick and Dorma Carrick. Surviving are his wife, Elsie Buie Tysinger of Mt. Vista Health Park; one daughter, Brenda T. Templeton of Winston-Salem; one brother, Homer Conrad Tysinger of Reidsville; two grandchildren, Bobby Templeton and Michael Templeton and his wife, Shannon; and six great-grandchildren.
