Darrell Kenneth Britt

Darrell Kenneth Britt, 70, of Hillcrest Rd., New London, died Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at the residence of his daughter.  Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Sunday, August 11, 2019 at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Britt Davis officiating.  Burial with military honors will follow in the Jones Springs Cemetery.

Born in Montgomery County on January 5, 1949, he was the son of Charlie and Lena Blake Britt.  He was a veteran of the US Army and was preceded in death by his first wife, Judith Ann Britt in 2018.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Elizabeth Scarboro Britt of Candor; 4 daughters, Jane Denise Willard of New London, Julie Ann Britt of Jackson Springs, Jamie Renee Freeman of West End, and Gina Elizabeth Brewer of Spies; sister, Brenda Sue Willard of Star; brother, Roger Dale Britt of Biscoe; 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Saturday at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home in Candor.
