Darla Tomasino

Mrs. Darla Wink Tomasino, 72, of NC HWY 49 South, Denton, NC passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at Moses Cone Hospital.

A celebration of life service will be held 6:00 pm on Monday, Sept. 30 at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 5:00 to 6:00 pm prior to the service at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton.

Darla was born on December 6, 1946 in Rochester, NY to Frank Wink and Sylvia Smaling Wink. Darla was the owner/operator of Denton Florist and she was a member of the Denton Ladies Civitans club. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Jack Tomasino of the home; son, Matthew Hallings and wife Diane of Denton; daughters, Kim Sage and husband Brian and Kelly Farrell and husband Alan all of New York; step-son, David Tomasino of Florida; brothers, Craig Wink and wife Carole and Mark Wink and wife Cheryl all of New York; 2 grandchildren, Jacob and Nicholas both of New York.
