Danny Wade Shaw

Danny Wade Shaw, age 59, of Bringle Ferry Rd., Denton died Saturday, March 10 at Thomasville Medical Center. Graveside service for Mr. Shaw will be 3:00 pm Friday, March 16, 2012 at High Rock Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Trevor Foster officiating. The family will receive friends at the church following the service and at the home at other times. Mr. Shaw was born April 28, 1953 in Davidson County to Jesse Wade and Dorothy Smoak Shaw. He had worked for the N. C. Department of Transportation and was a member of High Rock Baptist Church. He was a volunteer with the Healing Springs Fire Department. He loved the outdoors and loved to fish. He was a John Deere and arrowhead collector. Mr. Shaw is survived by his wife Ava Bailey Shaw of the home, two sons, Dustin Graham of the home and Shannon Graham of Denton, one daughter, Holly Morgan Berg of Denton, three brothers, Frank Shaw of Thomasville, Tony Shaw and Ollie Shaw, both of Lexington, one sister, Kathy Williams of Lexington and five grandchildren, Logan Berg, Cordell Graham, Brandon Benton, Taylor Bullard and Matthew Bullard.
