Danny Hogan

Mr. Daniel “Danny” Reece Hogan age 65, of Lou Cranford Rd, Denton passed away Saturday, October 1, 2016 at his residence. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday at Farmer Baptist Church conducted by Dr. Keith Letterman and Rev. Melvin Morton. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Hogan was born August 2, 1951 in Davidson County to Reece and Sarah “Polly” Stafford Hogan. He was a member of Farmer Baptist Church and retired from the City of Asheboro Water Department. In addition to his parents “Danny” was also preceded in death by brothers, Harold and Larry Hogan; brother-in-law, Jim Wilson. Surviving are, wife, Beverly Gallimore Hogan of the home; son, Steven Hogan (Crystal) of Asheboro; daughter, Lynn Hogan Smith (David) of Asheboro; brothers, Tommy Hogan (Angie) of Asheboro and David Hogan (Olga) of Fayetteville; sisters, Carolyn Brown (Wylie) of Denton and Kathy Wilson of Asheboro; sister-in-law’s, Betty Hogan of Asheboro and Ruth Hogan of Denton; grandchildren, Jacob, Sarah, and Brieanna Hogan, Kaci and Christian Smith. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the home on Lou Cranford Rd.
