Dale Hill

Mr. Dale Roger Hill, 63, of Old NC Hwy # 109, Lexington, NC died Saturday, June 7 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday June 10, 2008 at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Tim Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Walters Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Military Honors by Randolph County Honor Guard. Mr. Hill was born February 26, 1945 in Davidson County to Elwood and Vellie Hill Hill. He was a Veteran of the United States Army having served in the 1st Calvary Division as a medic in the Vietnam War. He last worked at Council Craftsman as a Carver. Survivors include, wife, Nancy Greene Hill of the home, Step Son, Stephen Russell of Asheboro, Step Daughter, Tammy Bumgarner of Warsaw, Mother Vellie Hill of Lexington, Brothers Darrell Hill of Mt. Airy and Jerry Hill of Mt. Gilead, Sister, Texie Lee Criscoe of Archdale, 2 Step Grandchildren, 3 Step Great Grandchildren. The family will see friends on Tuesday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton other times at the home of Vellie Hill on Old HWY 109 in Lexington.
