Curtis Edward Glover, 81, of Lucas Rd., West End, died Saturday, April 20, 2024 at First Health Hospice and Palliative Care in Pinehurst. Graveside Service will be 2:00 PM Thursday, April 25, 2024 at Pleasant Hill Church, with Tim Blake officiating. Curtis was born February 12, 1943, in Moore County, the son of Therese Edward and Mary Elizabeth Johnson Glover. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving in Vietnam, and was later a truck driver. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy and Gerald Glover and two sisters, Maxine Blake and Betty Jean Glisson. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Mindler Glover of the home; 3 sons, Therese “Glenn” Glover (Gaylene) of Fort Sill OK, Curtis Glover, Jr. (Tanya) of Missouri, and Tony Lane (Kinsey) of Aberdeen; daughter, Julia Goodwin (Chris) of Charlotte; 3 brothers, Ronnie Glover (Judy) of Jackson Springs, Stevie Glover (Joyce) of Jackson Springs, and Daryl Glover (Joanna) of Farmer; 2 sisters, Barbara Ingram of Ellerbe and Helen Griffin (Therman) of Jackson Springs; 6 Grandchildren; 5 Great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 PM prior to the graveside service on Thursday in Pleasant Hill Church. Arrangements by Briggs-Candor Funeral Home.
