Curtis Nathaniel Bailey, age 91, of J & V Drive, Troy, NC and formerly of Denton died Thursday, March 15 at Lexington Health Care. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday at High Rock Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Trevor Foster. The family will see friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Saturday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton. Mr. Bailey was born April 27, 1920 in Davidson County to Quincy Nero Bailey and Fannie Mae Shaw Bailey. He was a retired employee in the furniture manufacturing industry and a veteran of the U S Navy. He was a member of Floyd Baptist Church and was married to Morona Bean Bailey who died in 1998. He was also preceded in death by sons Hoyle Bailey and Randy Bailey. Mr. Bailey is survived by sons, James F. Perdue of Burlington, Grayland Bailey of Morganton; Dennis Bailey of Lexington and Cleo Bailey of Denton; daughters, Bettie Gallimore and Rehnee Rogers both of Denton, Pansy Osborne of Lexington; brothers, Joe Bailey and Quincy Bailey both of Lexington; sister Ada Hayes of Siler City; 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 6 step grandchildren and 5 step great grandchildren.
