Craig Martin Smith

Craig Martin Smith, 49, of Denton, NC, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at his residence. Born in Randolph County on December 20, 1975, Craig was the beloved son of Beulah Bailey Smith and the late Robert Raymond Smith. He was a graduate of Central Davidson High School and worked as a mechanic until his health declined.

Craig was of Baptist faith and enjoyed drag racing, playing pool, and spending time with his friends. He is survived by his mother, Beulah Bailey Smith of Denton; his sons, Nathaniel Hunt of Ohio and Lance Smith of Denton; a grandson; and his half-brother, Wayne Smith of Thomasville. He also leaves behind many special friends who will cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Raymond Hughes. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 6th at 2:00 p.m. at True Worship Church officiated by Rev. Dustin Rosenbaum.
