Craig "Skip" Mark

Craig Frank “Skip” Mark, 77, of Murdocksville Rd., West End, died Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at his residence.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Community Baptist Church, with Rev. Buddy Maness officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Friday at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home.

Born in the Bronx, New York on September 8, 1947, he was the son of Frederick and Elsie Frech Mark.  He was employed by the City of New York in the Sanitation Department for over 30 years.  He was a veteran of the US Army, serving in Vietnam.

Skip is survived by his wife, Evelyn Faith Jackson Mark of the home; 2 sons, Freddie Mark of Patterson NY, and Craig Mark, Jr. of Seven Lakes; 2 stepsons, Waylon Blake and Tery Williamson, both of Candor; stepdaughter, Heather Cole of Candor; sister: Geraldine Fracasso of the Bronx, NY; 10 grandchildren, including Katrina Mark, Kiana Mark, Fredrick Mark, Hayleigh Mark and Craig Mark, III.

Briggs-Candor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
