Craig Covington

Mr. Eric Craig Covington, age 60 of Anderson Street, Denton, NC died Saturday, October 9 at Wake Forest Baptist Lexington Medical Center. Mr. Covington will lie in state at Briggs Funeral Home from 4:00 until 7:00 PM Thursday, October 14. A memorial service will be held at True Worship Church on Saturday, November 20th at 5:30 pm with Rev. David Irby and Rev. Dustin Rosenbaum officiating. The family will see friends at the residence of the son, Dustin Covington on 419 Floyd Street in Denton. Mr. Covington was born December 6, 1960 at the Griffis Clinic in Davidson County to Hillard R (Bill) Covington and Carol Cody Covington. He had been employed with Shelby Johnson Trucking Company as a Diesel Mechanic. He was a volunteer fireman with the Town of Denton Fire Department. He is preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his wife, Molly Hughes Covington of the home; sons, Dustin Covington and wife Amanda and Jason Covington; daughter Erica Covington all of Denton; mother, Carol Cody Covington Snider of Denton; brother Ronnie Covington and wife Belinda of Denton and 9 grandchildren.
