Cora Sue Rogers Tarter

Mrs. Cora Sue Rogers Tarter, age 57, of Silver Hill Road, Lexington, NC died Saturday, February 8 at Hinkle Hospice House. A Memorial Service will be 11:00 am Saturday, February 15 at High Rock Baptist Church with Rev. Trevor Foster officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 am Saturday at the church. Mrs. Tarter was born April 13, 1956 in Davidson County to Dwight and Marie Buie Rogers. She had worked in home repairs as a painter. She had volunteered with Meals on Wheels and was a member of High Rock Baptist Church. She is survived by her parents of Denton, a son Maxton Oneil Loy of Lexington; daughters Lori Beth Hernandez of Sanford and Jessica Lyn Thomason of Lexington, a sister Margaret Spaugh of Lexington and 7 grandchildren.
