Mr. Colon Lee Terrell, Sr., age 80 of Handy Road, Denton died Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Hinkle Hospice House. A private graveside memorial service will be held for the family at a later date. The family will see friends at the residence on Handy Road from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM Friday, April 10. Mr. Terrell was born July 19, 1934 in Stokes County to Rev. Isaac Jones Terrell and Lula Lee Carter Terrell. He was the retired co-owner and president of Terrell Brothers Manufacturing Company for 50 years. He is survived by his wife, Carleen Lax Terrell of the home; a son, Colon Lee Terrell, Jr. and wife Lynette of Mebane; daughters, Annette Barbee and husband Eric of Denton, Myra Flowers and husband Bennie of Climax; brother, Jay Terrell and wife Billie of Southmont; grandchildren, Cole Terrell, Carter Terrell, Paige Terrell, Austin Terrell, Will Barbee, Renee Barbee, David Flowers and wife Jamie and Andy flowers and wife Nicole; great grandchildren, Colby Terrell and Colton Terrell.
