Mr. Clifford Wood Grubb age, 90 of Crousetown Rd., Lexington passed away Monday, January 25, 2016 at Thomasville Medical Center. A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, January 30 at Cedar Springs Cemetery with Rev. Billy Joe Yates presiding. Mr. Grubb was born April 30, 1925 in Davidson County to Frank Grubb and Effie Lambeth Grubb. He attended Jackson Creek Baptist Church, was a farmer, and a sawmill operator. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Naomi Grubb and sisters, Brady Grubb, Bertha Harrison, Pallie Bunting, Fallie Loflin, and Ruby Nance. Surviving are, sons, Jerry Grubb of Lexington and Dale Grubb of Thomasville; daughters, Denise Westmoreland of Lexington and Janette Jacks of Simpsonville, SC; brother, Troy Grubb of Lexington; 7 grandchildren, Deano Harrison, Ava C. Hepler, Kalli Litchfield, Jeff Grubb, Michelle Harrison, Keisha Davis, and Kevin Westmoreland; 11 great grandchildren, Calli, Daniel, and Owen Harrison, Cody and Cady Grubb, Asa Garard, Eva, Ella, and Evan Davis, Josh and Justin Hepler; 1 great-great grandchild, Skylar Hepler.
