Claudia Tolbert

Mrs. Claudia Gywn Tolbert, age 69 of Club House Drive, Badin Lake Community, New London, NC died Sunday, August 13 as a result of injuries received in an qutomobile accident. Mrs. Tolbert was born in Moore County a daughter of Claude Gywn and Wilda Mae Tate Gywn and was a retired seamstress. She is survived by sons, Mack Tolbert of Lexington, Cheyenne Tolbert and Darryl Tolbert both of Charlotte and Richard (Rusty) Tolbert and Terry Tolbert both of New London. Daughters Carol Tate of Lexington and Linda Seawell of Troy. Brother William Sherman Gywn of Hickory and Elizabeth Lusk of Hickory. 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm Thursday at Taylors Grove Baptist Church with burial to follow at Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will see friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton.
