Clara Sue Brewer McDuffie, 73, of Samarcand Rd., Biscoe, died Saturday, July 11, 2020 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Graveside Services were held Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at Big Oak Christian Church Cemetery, with Rev. Jaclynn Jones officiating. Born in Montgomery County on May 1, 1947, she was the daughter of Alex E. and Arlene Williams Brewer. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, William “Billy” Douglas McDuffie of the home; 2 sons, William Sean McDuffie of Biscoe and John Douglas McDuffie of Archdale; daughter, Michelle Shahan of Biscoe; sister, Sharon Dunlap of Seagrove; 3 Grandchildren, Tyler Hancock, Anna Marie McDuffie, and Keiran Shahan; 2 Great-grandchildren, William Dawson Hancock and Avery Clara-Mae Hancock. Briggs-Candor Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
