Mrs. Charlotte Sullivan Henderson, age 82, of Denton died Wednesday, July 3 at Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington. A Service of Song will be 2:00 pm Saturday July 6 at First Baptist Church in Denton with graveside service following in the church cemetery. Rev. Vern Peterson will be officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:30 to 1:30 Saturday, prior to the service, and other times at the home. Mrs. Henderson was born October 18, 1930 in Davidson County to Johnny Mock Sullivan and Pearl Brown Sullivan. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She had worked as a CNA with Mountain Vista Health for 15 years and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter in 1953. Mrs. Henderson is survived by her husband Billy Henderson of the home, two sons, Johnny Ray Henderson and wife Dennise of Lexington and Ricky Dean Henderson of Denton, one daughter Donna Daniel and husband Steve of Badin Shores, two sisters Wanda Martin of Denton and Dottie Luther of Asheboro. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Mandy Adams and husband Nathaniel, Jennifer Rose and husband Aaron, Sharrell Leonard and Catherine Leonard and four great-grandchildren, Ava Adams, Leah Rose, Autumn McIntyre and Hailey McIntyre.
