Charlie Tysinger

Mr. Charlie Avon Tysinger age 83 of Tysinger Family Road, Lexington, NC died Saturday, November 14 at his residence. A graveside service with military honors will be held 2:00 PM Sunday at the Owens Family Cemetery conducted by Rev. Keith Carroll. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the residence. Charlie was born April 20, 1932, in Davidson County to Challie Nathan Tysinger and Bessie Owens Tysinger. He was a veteran of the US Army having served during the Korean Conflict. He worked for many years as a framer. Charlie was preceded in death by his daughter, Betty T. Mitchell on November 17, 2006, by brothers, Bobby Ray Tysinger and Fred “Pete” Tysinger, and by his sister, Martha Perryman. Surviving is son, Charles Allen Tysinger of High Point; granddaughter, Stacy Broadway of Lexington; grandson, Cody Mitchell and wife Lisa of Franklin.
