Charles Eugene Lee

Charles Eugene Lee, 68, of Jackson Springs, died Sunday, May 29, 2022 at FirstHealth Montgomery Memorial Hospital in Troy after a lengthy illness. Graveside inurnment with military rites will be 11:00 AM Thursday, September 22, 2022 at West End Cemetery in West End. Born in Moore County on November 3, 1953, he was the son of Alvin and Jean Shelton Lee. He was retired from the US Army with the rank of Master Sergeant. He was preceded in death by his wife of 25 years, Eavy Ray Lee in 2021. Mr. Lee is survived by 2 sisters, Dianne Lee of Carthage and Gail Lee of Eagle Springs; brother, Danny “Goose” Lee of Jackson Springs. Briggs-Candor Funeral Home is assisting the Lee family with arrangements.
