Charles Kimbrell

Mr. Charles Ray (Charlie) Kimbrell, age 62 of Farmer-Denton Road, Denton, NC died Saturday at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. A funeral service will be held at 2:30 PM Wednesday, November 12 at Denton Wesleyan Church conducted by Rev. Charlie Collins and Rev. Charles Moses. Burial will follow in the Lexington City Cemetery. Mr. Kimbrell was born August 3, 1946 in Davidson County to James Alec Kimbrell and Lois Cross Kimbrell. He was a retired carpenter having last worked with Smith Storage Builders and was a member of Denton Wesleyan Church. He is survived by his wife, Mary Hobbs Kimbrell of the home, a son, Scott Kimbrell and wife Theresa and a daughter Betsy Faircloth and husband Jeremy all of Denton. A sister Carolyn K. Hilz of Caddo Mills, Texas and 3 grandchildren, Stephanie, Hannah and Dustin. The family will see friends from 12:30 to 2:00 PM Wednesday at Denton Wesleyan Church. Briggs Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
