Cecilia Perez Cruz

Cecilia Perez Cruz, 78, of South Main St., Candor, died Friday, Nov. 22, 2013 at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst. Graveside Service will be 3:00 PM Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013 at Candor Cemetery. Mrs. Cruz was born in Mexico on November 22, 1935, the daughter of Carmela Juarez. She was a homemaker. She is survived by 4 sons, Ernesto Cruz and Ciro Cruz, both of Biscoe and David Cruz and Antonio Cruz, both of Mexico; 5 daughters, Ismaela Cruz, Yolanda Cruz, Clara Cruz, Carmela Cruz and Maria Cruz, all of Biscoe; 2 brothers, Erasmo Cruz and Fortunato Cruz, both of Mexico; 2 sisters, Loreta Cruz and Ursula Cruz, both of Mexico; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home from 11:30 to 3:00 PM on Sunday prior to the graveside service.
