Carol Robbins Lee

Carol Robbins Lee, age 78 of High Point died Wednesday, December 27 at High Point Memorial Hospital Carol was born April 11, 1945 in Jacksonville to Charles Robbins and Betty Loftin Robbins She was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband Don Lee. She graduated from Denton High School in 1963 where she was an excellent basketball player holding the scoring record of 2500 points in her four year career. A notable achievement was being elected to the Denton Sports Hall of Fame. She was a longtime employee of Travelers Insurance Company and then had a second career with High Point Bank. She is survived by her sons David Lee and Michael Lee; a sister Angelyn Robbins Floyd and husband David and grandchildren Makyanna, Madysin and Elizabeth. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 PM on Saturday January 6 at the Fellowship Hall of First Methodist Church South Main Street, Denton. Inurnment will follow at the Denton Town Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the charity of the donors choice
