Carlton Spillman

Carlton F. Spillman, 80, of Oak Grove Church Rd., Asheboro died Friday, Dec. 1, 2006 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, Dec. 10, 2006 at 2:00 PM at Oak Grove United Methodist Church where he was a member, conducted by Rev. Carlton Lucas and Rev. J. Harold Hammond. Mr. Spillman was born July 16, 1926 in Guilford county to David and Daisy Etta Cordell Spillman. He was Veteran of the United States Army having served in World War II. He was a farmer. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers Seth, Alton, and Ralph Spillman, and a sister Mary Spillman. Survivors include, wife Helen Spillman of the home; son Randy Spillman and wife Ginger of Asheboro; daughter Ann Spillman of Asheboro; sisters Alma Turner and Margie Adams both of Randleman; grandson Andy Spillman.
