In the case of Carl Wayne the dash was long with laughter, thick with friends and full of memories. A trucker through and through he was a devoted husband and family man who cared dearly for all his kids, big and small. They were the light of his life. Many weekends were filled with long poker games, cold drinks and good food under his gazebo. His love for travel and parties was like no other. In his words the bigger the crowd and celebration the better. He enjoyed spending time laughing and cracking jokes with his many friends while eating the hottest of peppers for breakfast each morning. He adored his 2 fur babies Sally and Rowdy. His love for the UNC Tarheels was unmatched. He had a heart like no other, big, wide open and loving. Without a doubt at the end of his dash on Jan 6th 2021, there were no regrets.
