Mr. Carl Lee Grubb, 73, a resident of Pinky St. Lexington passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Forsyth Medical Center.
A graveside service for Mr. Grubb will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 20 at 2:00 PM at Jackson Creek Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Darrell Summey and Rev. Jack Hurley, Jr. In accordance with Covid-19 guidelines face coverings are required as well as practicing of social distancing.
Mr. Grubb was born in Davidson County on February 11, 1947 in Davidson County to Matthew Grubb and Milley Cody Grubb. Carl served in the United States Army. He worked in the furniture industry as a upholstery cutter and attended Friendly Baptist Church. In addition to his parents Carl was also preceded in death by his first wife, Doris Lowery Grubb.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Shaw Grubb of the home; sons, Michael Grubb of Lexington and Larrie Grubb of Trinity; step-daughter, Kellie Rabon of Thomasville; brother, James Grubb of Lexington; sister, Louise Grove of VA.
