Cameron Scott Morrison

Cameron Morrison, 27, of Raleigh, NC passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021.

A funeral service will be held 4:00 PM Saturday, Sept. 11 at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel conducted by Dr. Douglas Cope. Burial will follow at Siloam Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:30 until 4:00 PM Saturday prior to the funeral service at Briggs Funeral Home. At other times the family will be at the home of Trey Morrison.

Cameron was born in Cabarrus County, NC on December 13, 1993 the son of Tracy Morrison and Elizabeth Coggins Morrison. He graduated from South Davidson High School as a member of the class of 2012. Cameron was employed with Lansing Building Products. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Alton and Becky Coggins.

Cameron is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Coggins Morrison of Raleigh; father, Tracy Morrison of Asheboro; brothers, Trey Morrison and Brandon Roberts, Kadin Gainey all of Denton and Karter Gainey of Raleigh; paternal grandparents, Jerry Mack Morrison of Lexington and Linda Morrison of Concord; aunt, Paulette Troutman of Concord; uncles Randy Morrison of Concord and Wayne Morrison of Florida; and numerous extended family members, cousins and friends.

Memorials can be made to a Humane Society of the donor’s choice.
