Calvin Mclean Carrick

Mr. Calvin McLean Carrick, age 83, of Mt. View Church Rd., Lexington died Sunday night, January 18 at his residence following a brief illness. A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 21, at Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Tim Miller and Rev. Mike Motley officiating. Mr. Carrick was born August 8, 1925 in Davidson County to General Walsteine Carrick and Lillie Lou Rogers Carrick. He was a World War II veteran of the U. S. Army and was retired from Lexington Furniture Industries. He attended Mt. View Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Zeola Owens Carrick who died April, 1990. Mr. Carrick is survived by several nieces and nephews. There will be no public visitation. The family will be at the residence on Mt. View Church Rd.
