Buddie Dorsett

Mr. Buddie Dorsett, age 63 of Old Hwy. 109, Lexington died Thursday, May 9 at his home. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, May 11 at Briggs Memorial Chapel with Rev. Billy Joe Yates officiating. Burial will follow in the Cid United Methodist Church Cemetery. Mr. Dorsett was born May 19, 1944 in Davidson County to Elzie Lee and Vernelle Leonard Dorsett. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and had worked at Thomasville Furniture Industries. Mr. Dorsett was preceded in death by a sister, Sherry Dorsett. Mr. Dorsett is survived by sisters, Jannette Klass of Lexington and Sharon Bean and husband Joe of Denton, a niece, Kimberly Klass of Winston-Salem, nephew, Chris Bean and wife Shannon of Denton, and great niece, Britney Latham Bean of Denton. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Saturday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the residence on Old Hwy. 109.
