R. Bruce Wright, age 86 of Cid Road, Lexington, NC died Wednesday, Feb. 28 at Thomasville Medical Center. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at Liberty Baptist Church with Burial with Masonic rites in the Church Cemetery Mr. Wright was born October 18, 1920 in Davidson County to Arthur Franklin Wright and Ida Lee Lambeth Wright. He was the retired owner/operator of Cid Hosiery Mill and was a farmer. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church . He was a member and Past Master of Denton Lodge # 404 AF & AM and was a member of the York Rite. He was a member and past Worthy Grand Patron of the Denton Chapter # 216 Order of the Eastern Star. H is survived by his wife, Sarilla Winkler Wright of the home, by daughters Nancy Drozd and husband Ed and Janice Gallimore and husband Roger all of Lexington; Elaine Wright of High Point, a sister Margie Wright of Lexington and grandchildrenAndy Flick, Sally Jones, Robert Flick, Michael Drozd, Esther Drozd, Brian Drozd, Jason Hughes and Joey Hood and great grandchildren Heather Flick, Sydney Flick, Andrew Flick, Alex Flick, Illa Jones, Ben Jones and Joseph Hood. The family will see friends at the residence on Cid Road. Briggs Funeral Home in Denton is in charge of arrangements.
