Bruce Jackson

Joe Bruce Jackson, 73, of McCallum Pond Rd., Candor, died Thursday, November 28, 2024 at his residence.

Graveside Service will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2024, at Candor Cemetery, with Rev. Mike Greene officiating with military honors to follow.

Bruce was born in Moore County, to Josiah Jackson, Jr. and Evelyn Greene Jackson. He was a Vietnam Veteran having served in the United States Marines Corps. He had worked as a supervisor in the furniture industry and he had been a long-haul truck driver. When he was younger and his health allowed Bruce also enjoyed farming. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Cynthia Sue Jackson.

He is survived by his son, Zachary Lee Jackson of Denton; his daughter, Kyllie J. Brown of Troy; brothers, Michael Dean Jackson of Candor and Mathew Alan Jackson of NY; sisters, Deborah Ann Allen of Candor, Gwendolyn Jackson Greene of Candor, and Evelyn Faith Jackson Mark of West End; 5 grandchildren, Joelle Carlton, Trisha Rand, Alyson Jackson, Mackayla Jackson, and Emma Jackson; and 5 great-grandchildren.
