Bruce Hedrick

Mr. Edward Bruce Hedrick, age 71 of Emmons Mine Road, Denton, NC died Wednesday, December 16 at Hinkle Hospice House. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, December 18 at New Jerusalem United Church of Christ conducted by Rev. Butch Conrad. Burial will follow in Mountain View Memorial Gardens. Mr. Hedrick was born March 15, 1938 in Davidson County to Dewey Lee Hedrick and Maude Frank Hedrick. He was a member of New Jerusalem United Church of Christ and was a retired Carver Machine operator. He was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his wife Edith Tysinger Hedrick of the home; a daughter Mona Todd of Denton; a grandson Ryan Carpenter of Denton; mother Maude Hedrick of Denton and brothers, Wayne Hedrick and wife Edna of High Point, Reece Hedrick and wife Carol of Lexington, Ronald (R L) Hedrick and wife Chris and Clinton Hedrick and wife Frankie all of Denton. The family will see friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday at Briggs Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence on Emmons Mine Road.
